New day new problems.

I got a new Pay-TV-Card or what is the proper name for it, conax card? Well.... however after inserting the card to the slot 1 and changed to some channel what the card suppose to have. Nothing. No picture on those channels so I decided to search the channels again. Well, again I f*cked something up because I found the TV-channels but when I tried to CHANGE channel with remote control I thing I miss clicked some button because all the channels are now in RADIO-MODE.

I could not figure it out so I decided that I'll try some more images that should work. Then the worst thought I got was YEAH --> Let's flash Green.Line.HD.M9.R1.0.ird which was a very bad decision. I could not find any channels with that. So then I made the next bad decision I think. I decided to flash the Enigma2 HAARP-edition once again and try to find the tuners with it. I'm not even sure does it work with DVB-C -tuners but let's see once again.
Miraclebox-hd9_GIT-3300_PKT-1364_L504.ird flashed once more and let's see what happens.

The exact information about that image:
Enigma: 2011-09-13-experimental
Image: Release 2.1.0 2011-11-10
Frontprocessor version: 0
Detected NIMs: blank

Okay this happend!
THIS IMAGE DOES NOT SUPPORT DVB-C -tuners!
If you're about to have MB9 with DVB-C tuners do not use this image then. Try something else as I'm going to.

Is there VLC-addon on any other images for Miraclebox 9 or her sister boxes like:
Fortis HS-8200HD PVR
 Rebox RE-8000HD PVR
 Octagon SF-1028P
 *Atevio AV 7500 HD PVR
 Skyway Droid
 Openbox S9 HD PVR
 Icecrypt STC6000 HDPVR
Miraclebox9 Twin HD PVR
 XCruiser XDSR600HD

Those boxes should be similar according to one forum post but that doesn't make it true.
It just might work with images from those boxes too.

If there is VLC-plugin available anywhere, please let me know!

As I heard from my friend that he got Dreambox 9 TWIN PVR working with the Enigma2 Greenline image so I'm about to downgrade boot loader again from 6.0 to 5.04 so I can flash Greenline in.

Let's see whats going to happen. I've already tried it twice and have not got it working but can't hurt to try one more time.¨

So I'm going to flash MiracleBox-HD-9-GREEN-LINE-3.0-LD504.ird but first I have to do the downgrade again.

First .ird-file going to USB-stick is: DOWN_LD_504_M9_STEP1.ird
Second: DOWN_LD_504_M9_STEP2_LOADER.ird
And last I'll flash Green-Line image: MiracleBox-HD-9-GREEN-LINE-3.0-LD504.ird
¨
OKAY! This time I got this working half the way. I can see every non-pay-tv channels like MTV3 HD, Nelonen HD, FOX HD etc.
Then I can see some SD-channels which are pay-tv-channels. I can see CNN, Sky News but I cannot get any PAY-TV-HD-Channels workings.
All I got is error message "This Service can be shown only on a compatible CI+ host (129)"

I really don't have a clue which is wrong. I tried cardreader.sh , oscam.sh and Mgcamd.sh but none of those worked for HD-channels I need to pay.

Something good I got out from this. I got web interface working good. I can change channels and stream channels via it but yet I can't use it with any PAY-HD-Channels.

Here's a picture from Miraclebox 9 GREEN-LINE 3.0 web interface:

Long story short:

I couldn't get the Enigma2 image working correctly so I updated my bootloader from 5.04 back to 6.0 with this bridge image.

First I had to add FAC.MIRACLEBOX.9.HD.V1.99.99.BRIDGE.ird to my USB-stick and add it to Miraclebox 9 and with this BRIDGE-image bootloader is updated to 6.0.

After installing the freshest bootloader I ran FAC.MIRACLEBOX.9.HD.V2.11.07.CI+ -image to my box and now I got the HD-channels and pay-tv-channels working alright.

Then I installed plugin called FortisWebIo_en.V110.13_miraclebox_v6 hoping that it would give me an access to my box via web browser which after all made my Miraclebox 9 TWIN PVR with dual DVB-C tuners go totally blank.  Could not start it anymore so need to try other things to make things roll like they should be.

So I had to flash whole firmware again after installing that FortisWebIo -plugin but now I flash the newest image FAC.MIRACLEBOX.9hdtwinpvr.CIP.v2.11.34.2013Jan11.ird but as I've tried this before I got a
Scrambled Message -text
while trying HD- and pay-tv-channels. But as a Miraclebox stands for its name I got the newest CI+ firmware in and I hope it stays that way and trying to install some WebUi -plugin to get an access via web browsers. For example I'm at my cabin and I notice that Shieeet, its football day so I get to laptop, connect to my ip and set up recording.

And PLEASE if you have any ADVICE for the novice. EVERYTHING IS TAKEN!

Thanks in advance!

So the next day the new challenges!

As I've told before I could not get Miraclebox 9 TWIN PVR as intented yesterday so trying new again.

I thought that maybe if I install Enigma2 to my box it will work as I want it to work. So nothing more than starting to downgrade my boxes bootloader from 6.0 to 5.04 so I can install Enigma2 and other images.

Here is the tutorial how to do it:

Tutorial How to Downgrade Miraclebox 9HD LD6.00 => LD5.04
You flash each software by copying each file (one at a time) to a FAT32-formatted USB, have the receiver turned off, put the power while pressing ARROW UP til the SCAN USB appears. Then let the receiver do its job. Do this with each file.
1. Flash DOWN_LD_504_M9_STEP1.ird
2. Flash DOWN_LD_504_M9_STEP2_LOADER.ird
3. Flash M9 SW 1.09.35.ird.
4. Now You can flash by ARROW UP and POWER on Enigma2 images IRD files, or other MiracleBox HD9 images.
Notice that you will need to upgrade to 1.09.99 before updating to a V2.0X.XX software.

Then the first image I tried was  Miraclebox-hd9_GIT-3300_PKT-1364_L504.ird and at first it looked good. I could use internet browser to use the box etc. but then the BIG PROBLEM.

As you might remember from my previous postings I do have 2x DVB-C -tuners and with this current image it can't find any tuners. So again, trying some other image.

This  time I'm trying image by Octagon which should work with my box because they are done by relatively same hardware. I found a list from some forum which says that following boxes are with same hardware and images may / should work with them. The following boxes are:
 Fortis HS-8200HD PVR
 Rebox RE-8000HD PVR
 Octagon SF-1028P
 *Atevio AV 7500 HD PVR
 Skyway Droid
 Openbox S9 HD PVR
 Icecrypt STC6000 HDPVR
Miraclebox9 Twin HD PVR
 XCruiser XDSR600HD
So I tried with the Octagon image  FAC.Octagon.SF1028PHD.CIP.v2.11.34.2013Jan11.ird but while I try to install it I get ERR: 0x10. So this image is no good with my box.

Must try some other image after some while.

Next image I'm going to try is MiracleBox-HD-9-GREEN-LINE-3.0-LD504.  I have tried this before but back then I could not get pay-tv-channels or HD-channels to work and I'm hoping I'll do some magic tricks whilst installing software.

Maybe now I'm more lucky!

Buying a digibox which is based on linux could make your life suck! At least you need practice.

Hello!

Something about me?

I'm 26 year old student (working at the moment) but yet student. I ordered this box from a Finnish shop which sells digiboxes, satellite things and everything between them.

Well, the hell broke loose immediately I got the box assembled. I though that YES! I DID IT! but the the harsh reality hit my face with a ten pound hammer.

Normal channels worked well with it but with HD-channels or pay-tv-channels gave me text "Scrambled channel"

Then I downgraded the loader and tried another image but from that I'll write a bit later. I'm kinda busy at the moment.

Cheers!

PS. IF YOU MIGHT HAVE ANY HELP HOW CAN I GET DVB-C -channel (HD or pay-tv-channels) working, PLEASE let me know what image you use for your Miraclebox 9.
